Coaching
Let’s first identify what coaching is! One of the best metaphors I’ve heard that helps distinguish therapy from coaching is:
“A therapist is someone you bring your luggage to and she helps you open it up and decipher the contents; a coach is someone you bring your luggage to and, together, we work on getting you from where you are to where you want to be.”
Coaching is a modality of personal transformation that is a safe place for you to be transparent, work through obstacles, and explore all aspects of yourself with the purpose of living the life you desire and deserve. Together we will explore your dreams, goals, shift behaviors and limiting mindsets so that ultimately you realize a conscious shift about who you are and how YOU transform your life.
Coaching IS:
- Supportive in specific goal achievement, decision making and life transitions
- An opportunity for self discoveries and to learn from them
- For healthy individuals of sound mind
- Focused on the future life YOU choose to create
- Designed to draw insights from within yourself and helps you learn to trust your own answers
- Very helpful in providing clarity and vision to keep you in moving ahead and achieving your goals
My philosophy is that we all possess the answers we seek. It is my role to assist you in bringing those answers into your awareness so that you can integrate those lessons for further growth and development.
Coaching is NOT:
- Therapy or counseling
- Based on a medical diagnosis
- Focused on the past
- A platform for “advice”, legal or otherwise
- A passive solution
